Canyon Clash
Capture the map, contest timed objectives, and win the scoreboard—not merely the fight count.
Canyon Clash is a structured alliance battlefield where two alliances compete for points through building occupation, combat, Canyon Captain damage, and Energy Cell operations. The alliance with the higher score at the end wins. Strong accounts matter, but disciplined assignments, fast rotations, and constant map awareness usually decide whether that strength produces points.
Give each march a purpose.
Use your strongest formation for contested buildings, boss damage, and decisive fights. Secondary formations are ideal for holding safer objectives, reinforcing teammates, and preserving continuous points. Do not waste the best march guarding a low-value location while the main battle happens elsewhere.
Know what creates points
Use the current event screen and live countdowns as the final authority when timings or values change.

Six phases of a coordinated match
The exact battlefield timing may change. Follow the in-game countdown and alliance commander rather than relying on memory alone.
Prepare Roles and Entry Squads
Confirm the battle time, Starters, Substitutes, building teams, boss group, and Energy Cell carrier before the map opens.
Priority actions
- Verify the selected battle time in Apocalypse Time and remind members before registration closes.
- Place reliable, active fighters in Starter slots and give Substitutes a clear entry and replacement plan.
- Assign opening buildings, Canyon Captain damage teams, Energy Cell carriers, escorts, defenders, and battlefield callers.
- Prepare three useful formations: strongest for contested objectives and secondary marches for holding or rotating.
- Enter with healed troops, open hospital capacity, and enough healing resources for a sustained match.
The match becomes chaotic quickly. A one-page assignment list is more valuable than trying to direct every player after combat begins.
Do not register inactive power simply to inflate the lineup. Attendance and role discipline win more points than an impressive roster that does not enter.
Capture the First Objectives
Spread quickly, claim nearby buildings, and establish a dependable point base before chasing enemy players.
Priority actions
- Move immediately to assigned opening objectives rather than stacking the entire alliance in one location.
- Prioritize useful early buildings such as the Field Hospital and Water Refinery while securing available passive score.
- Use secondary formations to hold safer buildings so the strongest march remains available for contested targets.
- Reinforce teammates who are likely to win; withdraw from clearly lost fights instead of feeding repeated defeats.
- Check the mini-map constantly for empty lanes, undefended objectives, and enemy concentrations.
Early building control creates continuous points and can provide buffs that make every later fight easier.
Do not turn the opening into a kill chase. Winning fights while leaving objectives neutral is still losing the points race.
Contest the Canyon Captain
Pre-position before the boss appears and concentrate damage without abandoning the rest of the map.
Priority actions
- Watch the live countdown and move damage formations before each Canyon Captain spawn.
- Send the strongest available marches to maximize alliance damage and compete for the temporary buff.
- Keep a separate group on buildings so the enemy cannot capture the map while everyone attacks the boss.
- Use the enemy's boss focus as an opportunity to pressure exposed positions when leadership calls for it.
- Return promptly to assigned lanes after the boss window instead of remaining clustered in one area.
Published guides commonly show boss windows during the match, but the current in-game countdown should always be treated as authoritative.
Do not send every player to the boss. A buff is valuable only when the alliance still controls enough objectives to use it.
Take and Hold the Military Bases
Fight for the high-value strongholds that improve combat power and generate meaningful points.
Priority actions
- Move the primary combat group toward Military Bases as they become available.
- Attack one defended objective together instead of spreading damage between several buildings.
- Cycle healthy formations into the queue and pull weakened squads before they become easy points.
- Protect access routes and nearby buildings so the enemy cannot isolate the captured base.
- Use the damage advantage from Military Base control to reinforce the wider map plan.
Holding one major objective with support is often better than briefly touching several and losing all of them.
Do not leave your best formation babysitting a low-value building while the alliance is fighting for the main stronghold.
Escort the Cell and Deny Theirs
Treat the Energy Cell as a coordinated transport operation—not a solo pickup.
Priority actions
- Pre-position the carrier and escort team before the Energy Station opens.
- Use a durable, active player as carrier and keep allies between the carrier and enemy attackers.
- Pressure enemy positions before pickup so fewer opponents can contest the route.
- Call the carrier's location and route clearly; defenders should rotate ahead rather than follow too far behind.
- Eliminate or delay enemy carriers while maintaining enough building control to preserve steady scoring.
Energy Cells can create a major score swing, but they supplement map control rather than replacing it.
Do not let the entire alliance chase one carrier while Military Bases and other objectives fall uncontested.
Lock the Map and Protect the Lead
Stop unnecessary wandering, hold the highest-value objectives, and make the enemy spend time retaking ground.
Priority actions
- Read the live score and identify which buildings must be held through the final minutes.
- Keep pressure near the enemy side when it prevents them from spreading back onto the map.
- Focus multiple players on one dangerous opponent instead of taking isolated one-on-one fights.
- Heal and rotate continuously so occupied objectives do not collapse when one squad is removed.
- When leading, defend the score engine; when behind, concentrate only on objectives capable of changing the result.
The closing call should be simple: defend the lead, attack one swing objective, or complete one final Cell run.
Do not throw away a winning position by chasing personal kills across the map.
Keep useful formations active.
Your real limits are troop health, hospital capacity, formation strength, and coordination. Heal throughout the match, rotate damaged marches out of important positions, and keep enough healthy troops available to contest the final objectives.
Build a team, not a crowd
Every role contributes to the same scoreboard, even when it is not delivering the final attack.
Battle commander
Watches the full map, calls objectives, changes priorities, and keeps instructions short.
Opening capturers
Spread to assigned early buildings and create the first layer of continuous scoring.
Front-line fighters
Use strongest formations on Military Bases, enemy pressure, and critical defensive fights.
Building holders
Use secondary marches to maintain captured objectives and call incoming attacks early.
Boss damage team
Pre-position for Canyon Captain windows, maximize damage, then rotate back immediately.
Cell team
Provides the carrier, escorts, interceptors, route calls, and protection through successful return.
Look at the whole battlefield, not only your march.
The mini-map reveals empty objectives, collapsing lanes, incoming pressure, and where the alliance is over-stacked. Use the quick objective icons and timers to move before a fight begins. Players who notice the next opening first often earn more points than players who simply stay in the largest battle.
Common ways alliances lose the canyon
Playing for kills
Combat points help, but building control and timed objectives usually decide the alliance result.
No assignment plan
When everyone chooses the same objective, other lanes become free points for the enemy.
Solo attacks
Focused groups remove targets faster and spend fewer marches than repeated one-on-one attempts.
Ignoring timers
Arriving after the boss or Energy Station activates gives the enemy uncontested momentum.
Aimless movement
Unnecessary rotations scatter the team and leave important objectives without enough support.
No healing rotation
Troops return after battle, but an overwhelmed hospital can remove your useful marches during the match.
Alliance checklist
- 1Is the battle time confirmed?
- 2Are Starters and Substitutes active?
- 3Does every opening building have an owner?
- 4Are boss and Energy Cell roles assigned?
- 5Who will watch the score and make calls?
